Most of the toys are made of plastic, but look closely at Thomas the Tank Engine. You can easily see that it's got some metal sand attached to it, which means it is made of something magnetic. Combining different materials help toys become more diverse, but it also means that it becomes more difficult to recycle or reuse. Like this little Thomas the Tank engine, even though world renown, it still ends up being discarded.
