For better presentation and to keep the food fresh, a lot of supermarkets employ these food trays for fruits, vegetables or sometimes even meat and seafood products, plus plastic wraps. But in order to reduce the weight for transfer, most of these food trays are made out of Styrofoam or plastic. Next time you cook, remember to throw them in the recycle bin. Otherwise the marine animals may smell their own kind from the packaging, and that's just so sad.
