Occasionally you'll see a whole tire at the beach or in the water. It is speculated that some tire recycling plants actually just throw them away into the sea. I mean, it's really bizarre if a person just... lost a tire, right? But did you know? Driving around, the friction between the road and the tire will actually rub off micro-plastic particles, which are then washed off into the rivers and eventually, the sea.
