Not too long ago, writing pads were frequently used to line beneath each page in exercise books to prevent dents from forming on the subsequent pages. The various prints adorning the pads were often a show of status where children would show off their new, cool designs to each other. Nowadays it would seem writing pads have been replaced by electronic pads. It even seems these new generation children don’t even know what writing pads are! This “Gatchaman” design was probably the coolest piece of stationary some time in history. However, like everything else, the pattern on this plastic pad has since faded, leaving behind a warped piece of plastic. A problem for someone else.
