Although slippers and other forms of footwear aren’t recognized in the ICC (International Coastal Cleanup) classifications, it’s difficult to ignore the sheer quantity of various footwears in the “other” column of the ICC form while picking up waste from the beaches. These abandoned footwears mostly come with only one. If you see a pair of shoes while cleaning the beach, they may have an owner nearby. Don’t pick them up!
