Plastic Bottle with Bite Marks
Here we have a plastic bottle ravaged by hungry teeth. For creatures without hands, the only way to know if something can be eaten is by poking and biting it with its mouth. Although the garbage itself is not delicious, algae, barnacles and other organisms eventually latch onto the waste material, making it smell appetizing. Nearby sea creatures can’t help biting at what smells like food, but they won’t be able to digest it. So, the poor creatures feel so hungry, but their bellies are completely full. And when they finally perish, the plastic simply fills up another belly.
