Life-Saving Rations

In this red plastic box contained ration from the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force. The ration was printed with an anchor and sakura (cherry blossom) imagery. Each box contained 9 rations, which came in two flavors: Food A is a hard biscuit, and Food B is a sugar jelly. Allegedly the biscuits taste rather nice. But if you see this at the beach, please don't just eat it!
