Melted Plastic

If you’ve ever taken a walk along the rural coastal areas and asked the locals how they traditionally dispose of garbage, it’s not uncommon to hear of the “incineration” method. It appears the rural inhabitants believe putting the garbage through a fire ritual provides a complete cleansing solution. However, the truth of the matter is an improper incineration not only fails to dispose of the garbage, it also produces large amounts of “dioxin,” a century-old toxin which can’t be decomposed. The toxin seeps into the natural environment where it penetrates the food chain through various wildlife, which would eventually enter our own bodies. Private incineration not only failed to deal with past and existing waste problems, it further expels even more problems into our lives.
